Lookbook
Vol. 01The Jawline
Definition first. Sculpting tools worked cold, morning and night.
Tip — Chill the stone in the fridge and always stroke from the chin outward to the ear, then down the neck — that is the direction lymph actually drains.
The Mid Fade
Two weeks of shape from a guard ladder and one blending pass.
Tip — Cut dry, start with guard 1 at the hairline and work up. Blend by flicking the clipper outward where two guards meet — never straight up.
The Short Beard
Trimmed to one length, then lined at the neck and cheek.
Tip — Set the neckline two fingers above the Adam's apple and follow the natural cheek line. Trim beard hair dry — wet hair springs up shorter than you cut it.
The Sharp Cut
Clean lines. Trimmed, textured and locked in for the week.
Tip — Work sea salt spray through damp roots, not dry ends, then rough dry with your hands for volume that holds without shine.
The Cold Morning
Sixty seconds of cold before anything else touches the face.
Tip — Ice roll straight out of the freezer for one minute over cheeks and under-eyes, then gua sha. Cold first, drain second — the order matters.
The Reset
Recovery night. De-puff, patch up and breathe through the nose.
Tip — Patch, then moisturise, then tape last. Sleep on your back with the head slightly raised so fluid never pools in the face.
Grooming Rules
Six things that decide whether the tools work. Learn them once, run them forever.
Trim on dry hair
Wet hair sits up to a guard longer than it dries. Every clean line should be cut dry, then checked in daylight.
Cold before contact
A chilled stone or ice roller constricts vessels and clears overnight swelling before any product goes on.
Slip is non-negotiable
Never drag a gua sha across bare skin. Oil, essence or moisturiser first — dry dragging causes irritation, not definition.
Roll weekly, not daily
Beard rolling at 0.5mm once a week beats three rushed sessions. Skin needs the days in between to rebuild.
Line the neck low
Two fingers above the Adam's apple. Cutting higher makes the beard look like it is sliding off the jaw.
Sleep is the cheapest tool
Seven hours of nose-breathing sleep does more for the lower face than any device in the arsenal.
